Do you believe you have no chance of getting a job fresh out of school? Our test engineer Radek would convince you otherwise. He started working with us at Wistron while he was still in high school, as part of his high school internship. And because we recognize talent and diligence early on, we kept Radek with us. He repairs computer servers and analyzes their errors, gaining experience with customers at the very top of the market.

Tereza, who has worked her way up from a receptionist to the Administrative Department Manager, is a shining example that parental leave does not mean the end of a one’s career. Like other mothers at Wistron, she can work according to her capacity with a tailor-made contract. And she knows what working parents need. For example, she helped build our new company nursery.
She decided to turn her life around and Wistron gave her an opportunity to put down her roots in the Czech Republic
She wanted to start a new life by moving from Taiwan. Her first steps led to Prague, before she found the Czech branch of Wistron, a company she already knew back from her homeland. This was the reason she eventually moved to Brno. She has been with us in the Czech Republic since 2019, working as an FA Engineer. It is in the Brno branch of Wistron that she has found her personal and professional freedom – she can fully employ her skills, her superiors appreciate her work and she can raise her two children at the same time. In the end, even a foreign language, very different from her mother tongue, was not an obstacle, and all this convinced her to decide to stay here permanently.
If you really enjoy your work, then age doesn't matter at all
Josef is truly a computer aficionado, even though he enjoys more building them than tapping the keyboard. Even though he has reached retirement age over 4 years ago, his unwavering energy and work drive are an inspiration to us all. He used to hear from all sides that employers are not interested in old-timers. But here at Wistron he has learned quite the opposite, that we value this many years of experience. He has been spreading his enthusiasm in the team since 2009, which is why he knows every screw and cable when installing servers.
